Hi Scott,
I won't be reverting this change anytime soon for various reasons, even though
this is a MSIE bug:
1) MSIE has >85% of the market share
2) The little '\r' isn't hurting anyone
3) '\r\n' is a valid XML line-ending termination sequence, so our documents are
still XHTML 1.0 strict compliant
4) MSFT won't be supplying a fix for this anytime soon, and even if they did, it
would take eons for people to upgrade
5) I want the greatest audience possible to view these documents
Sorry, but unless you can argue something more substantial than 'Now I see ^Ms
everywhere' this change won't be reverted.
