MPW can most certainly handle everything we do with
Makefiles, HOWEVER it's a different make language (don't ask why,
it's a LONG story!) and so it would mean rewritting all of the
makefiles anyway.
Also, any professional Mac OS programmer has CodeWarrior.
MPW is only used by a few "hobbyists" who don't wish to pay for CW
(which is understandable if you're not using it full time). And MPW
is being phased out along with teh move to Mac OS X, so it's not
(IMNSHO) worth the investment.
