No.

It was definitely gone in 0.7.13. I think it was also missing in 0.7.12.
I'm fairly sure it was still around in 0.7.10, but I'm not sure; that was
during my first attempt at getting Linux working, when it didn't, really,
and I did very little with it. However, in early 0.7.x releases, there was
a LinuxPPC cursor.

No. But if I do that I get an assert:

m_bCursorIsOn == false at fv_View.cpp:6094

The assert comes up while changing the cursor status, not afterwards.

Let me know if you want me to mess around with things, or test fixes. (I
know how to update from CVS; any other technique will require instructions.)
