The only bug I could find regarding this is bug 1484: AbiWord crashes

I believe you, but Gnumeric turns out to be a bad example: I just recompiled
it and restarted it, but it does not report any error like it. Perhaps
they just surpressed error messages in version 0.65? ;-)
