That was my initial goal. The biggest problem is Standard Event vs Carbon
Events. The former is required for MacOS 8.x support (please no CarbonLib)
and the later is recommended for performance on MacOS X. But that is doable.

Mostly for political AND technical reasons.
Political reasons:
-PowerPlant cost $
-Metrowerks recent (lack of) support annoys me
(we are not a software company that can afford this)
Techical reasons:
-Depends on CodeWarrior: I still have to find a CodeWarrior that works
reliably on MacOS X
-gcc not usable for that, causing trouble for build system. Apple could
do it for Finder.app, but at what price ? BTW I have ported an application
of mine under MacOS X with PowerPlant, and the result is not that good.
gcc is also required for Mach-O runtime to acces CG and BSD. CodeWarrior
has no such support at that time, and still have none.
-bad performance: I have seen how bad Finder.app and CodeWarrior performs
on MacOS X enough to disgust me.
