I try to build AbiWord on a regular basis (once a week at least). It
builds
ok in my tree but I had to do a (stupid) hack to have a binary.
This hacks is related to the LIBICONV_PLUG flag. I'll look into a clean
solution to this problem.

But, in the mean time, you should be able to build AbiWord by
applying the same workaround concerning libiconv.
