Ok, I fixed my problem, thanks to everyone who tried
to help me. I just copied the header files into a
peer directory in my abisrc folder. When it was in
the cygwin tree, i got a new error where it was trying
to get the compiled objects at C:\cygwinusr\ (missing
a slash in the middle, so I just moved the tree back
to the root drive and it compiles fine.
