Hi Francis,

If you mean, 'do we have a build with Hebrew interface', then no,
nobody has translated the strings yet. If you mean 'can we use AW
to type Hebrew' then yes, providing you have ISO-8859-8 or utf-8
locale set up, and have the bidi build of AW (must specify
ABI_OPT_BIDI_ENABLED=1 on the make command line).

I have put together a font pack of basic Hebrew pfa fonts, which
you can download from http://www.frydrych.uklinux./abi/fonts-
iso8859-8.tgz. General information on setting up non-Latin1 locales
is in UnixLocales.txt and UnixFonts.txt found at the top of the abi
tree. If you have any problems setting this up then let me know.

If your X-server supports ttf fonts, then you can also use any ttf
fonts that have the Hebrew Unicode page in them; I personally use
the MS fonts Times New Roman, Arial and Courier New, and run
utf-8 locale.

I should add that the bidi build is still fairly experimental ...

Tomas
