yes

I think that auto-save should:

1) copy filename.abw to
filename.abw.what-ever-extension-you-have-in-the-dialog-box and

2) save the current document in filename.abw

your right in that current behaviour is counter intuitive

Does it means that if I activate auto-save, I edit a document for say 1
hour, and quit without saving the document, then I lost the last
autosaved doc?
