HI Leonard,
I've looked through this code and it will be a real pain to
move to XP. The way we deal with fonts in unix is a real mess. To put PS
generation into XP with the current codebase would require moving that
mess to XP. In addition there lots of embedded gdk font pointers inside
member variables that are critical to doing correct layout for unix.
I think that when we move to GTK 2.0 which has a much nicer font interface
and uniform UTF-8 glyph passing, we should take the time to redo how we do
fonts in unix. With that it should be pretty easy to get PS generation
into XP too.
