HI Frank,
Please enter this bug in bugzilla as a blocker. I'll fix it
eventually if someone doesn't beat me to it.
As I recall this bug has appeared before. It's caused by Smart Quotes
somehow.
A Google search of the abiword archives will turn up some cluse I think.
A private email to Bill Carpenter might help too.
