STABLE dies on launch

    STABLE now builds (thank you MPritchett for committing the fix). It dies
    on launch. Here's the debug output. Deleting the custom toolbar prefs
    fixed this, so STABLE now runs for me. It probably shouldn't crash from
    bad prefs, though.
