well, it seems odd to me that the same fonts look nice in all the rest
of my apps... even this mail client, sylpheed (which uses gtk+) has nice
looking fonts, the list is endless... and i ahev several WYSIWYG apps
for various thigns, and the fonts are OK in them... what makes AbiWord
so different?
i just tried the FAQ for installing true type fonts, but i get an error
that the font cour.afm doesnt exist... i guess i'll just leave it as an
out-of-the-box install. how long is it predicted before full support for
the adobe font pack (well, the ghostscript PS fonts) is included? i
really only like to have my text editors set up to know those fonts, as
it saves hassles when i print with a PS printer... (lets me know when a
special font needs to be included in the file or not)
thanks again!
Sam
