It's not just you, but I think we just don't want to maintain two of
these.
In fact, IMO, psiconv is effectively stable, since the functionality in
HEAD is only in the psion importer and that looks for system-library
libpsiconv not peer psiconv.
unixfonts hardly ever changes, and if it does it ought to change
identically in HEAD & STABLE - but I wouldn't be surprised if one of the
goals of currently font/pango development is to eliminate the need for
unixfonts entirely, so arguably unixfonts is effectively stable as well.
wv is questionable. Personally I would be happier with it branched,
because in its current state we know it works for stable abi, and if we
branched it I'd feel happier when making sweeping changes to HEAD wv...
