Hi everyone,
At the outset I have to say that both Marc and Mark are
important to the AbiWord project. I greatly value both their contributions.
I can understand both points of view. Marc devoted a great of time putting
the sourceball together and debugging a killer crash. Mark is used to a
careful release process with a well defined chain of command. However in
this case 1.1.0 is very much a snapshot of our current progress and I can
certainly see why Marc took the initiative to retag. Whether or not this
was the right thing to do, I'll leave to Dom who is managing the 1.1.x
series.
The sort of language flying around here is certainly not warrented though.
Please take the time and make the effort to look through other peoples
eyes.
Calm down.
Martin
