Because I use the same code on "the other side", ie. on abicollab.net.
Now, all of abicollab.net's code is not GPL licensed. When people commit
new stuff to these files, it will be GPLv2+ licensed. This in turn means
that I update the code on either side, I will have to be careful what I
can 'take' and what not.
To avoid the hassle I just made it BSD. The 2 files are totally
self-contained, so maybe some other project, even commercial, likes them
too.
