I just did a fresh install of RedHat 6, with GNOME, on my system,
and now the bug appears. In fact, it's quite obvious, and appears
all the time. (very annoying)
My system is very much the default RH6 install. GNOME is running
Enlightenment 0.15.5.
I've fiddled around with the focus settings, including the ones
which deal with focus being given to new popups or new windows.
Nothing seems to affect the problem.
I've reproduced the problem with the current CVS sources, but
I also went back and built 0.5.4 and 0.5.3 -- both of these
show the problem as well.
