Well, some UNIX platform independance has been tested, I think
most of the ( few ) endianness bugs have been ironed out on a Sparc. We do
however use mmap ... is this a real problem under windows ? It should be
significantly accelerating some of what excel files do ( at least I hope
so :-)
Anyway, the code is in the gnome cvs 'gnumeric' module in
plugins/excel/ms-ole.c ( although that also includes some special biff
helper functions but hey )...
I'd be interested in Justin's thoughts,
