Well there still are some of us lurking. :) I have cc'ed your message
to the wxWindows list, since I'm sure there will be some people on
that list interested in helping out with the wxAbiWord port.

This would be great! In the same time that it would take you to do a
hard coded Mac port, you could do the wxWindows port and help
out both AbiWord and wxWindows in the process. wxWindows
would get a great word processor and AbiWord would be able to
use a standardized cross platform tool for future ports, reaping the
benefits from all the work that is going on in the wxWindows effort.

I believe that there have been some discussions on the
wxWindows list about this topic. Somebody from the wxWindows
list would be better qualified to answer that question.

If you are interested in getting the wxAbiWord port going, we can
start building a team of interested developers of AbiWord and
wxWindows developers and go from there.
The potential of this project is very exciting!
