I see what it is now. I installed helix gnome before 0.7.12 came out so I
already had the dependencies satisfied. You have a choice of going back a
version or getting helix gnome (a fairly large undertaking if you use a
dialup as I do). Reinstalling 6.2 & going to 7.0 will neither satisfy the
dependencies.
If you get it, I'd suggest instaling it by hand. I tired using the
installer and it wanted to download all of the files one-by-one and that
was going to take forever. I instead downloaded them all to a single
directory and installed them all at once.
I never realized this was a requirement. I wouldn't think it to be a good
idea to do things this way unless a couple of the distros have started
including helix gnome as standard fare. Redhat hasn't yet (unless the 7.0
respin has it) but, that doesn't mean some of the others haven't.
