Hopefully you've gotten AbiWord to run on your machine by now (the
symlink trick should do it), but I'd like to make sure this doesn't
happen in the future.
A few days before I did the 0.7.8 release, I did a cvsup on the FreeBSD
build host (to RELENG_3 branch). My ports collection (from which I
installed the gtk libraries) includes an old version of GTK (1.2.2).
I'm not sure why, when 1.2.6 is out, and fixes several bugs in GTK.
They should all be interface compatable.
Is following the RELENG_3 branch a good idea, for compatability's sake
for other FreeBSD users? Or should I target a RELEASE branch to make
it easier for more people.
