| Well, FWIW I just noticed my copy of WP for Linux doesn't do MDI either.
MDI works best on Windows, and SDI works best on Linux. Linux user generally
dislike the Opera MDI interface, while Windows users dislike the SDI interface
of AbiWord. The ideal solution is to make AbiWord SDI on Linux and MDI on
Windows, though this may not be as easy as it sounds like ...
