Subject: Abiword segfaults on start

For the past few weeks I've been unable to get Abiword to start up
correctly. When I run it, I see the splash screen, and then it
segfaults. I think this is a result of my accidentally demolishing my
XFree 4.0.1 setup, and subsequently installing 4.0.3. I'm using Linux,
incidentally.
When this first started happening, I updated to the latest version, but
that didn't seem to solve the problem. At the moment, I'm using version
0.7.14. The best I've been able to do towards troubleshooting this is
to attach gdb to the exec and get a backtrace. Here it is:
(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/local/AbiSuite/bin/AbiWord_d
(no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...

I'm getting desparate to solve this problem. Can anyone help?
