Hello for all,
I'm new AW user. After installing abiword-0.99.3.tar.gz on my
RedHat-7.2 machine, reading through any docs, specially about fonts and
LANG env, I stuck with no fonts for ISO-8859-2.
Well, I have Type1 iso8859-2 fonts, my LANG="pl_PL". Made a subdir
/usr/local/AbiSuite/fonts/pl_PL, copied there in iso8859-2 Type1 fonts.
Wrote to xfs /etc/X11/config file a path to above fonts. Also added the
fonts path to XF86Config-4 file (for testing only). I run abiword
directly calling "abiword" or alternatively calling a script "abipl"
with exporting LANG="pl_PL".
I also tried with changed name of fonts subdir to ISO-8859-2 and
LANG="pl_PL.ISO-8859-2".
All that did not give any result. I still cannot use my native
language. Abiword does not like other fonts except of iso-8859-1.
Is there a way to change this behaviour?
