Hej - I am using AbiWord 0.9.6.1 for Windows 98.
I have some suggestions and comment...
Please add right-click capability for Save As/Save. It's quick and one
doesn't have to hunt for the menubar above. (Saw this feature in Prolix32
text editor and it is handy.)
Please add the ability to create a text box on the page, and also have
the option to be able to put a border around it.
Add some indication that something is actually happening when one does a
Save or Save As.
Support for .jpg files (!) and text wrap around pics. Tnx!
When adjusting the margin marker, please indicate what the margin value
is when dragging it, otherwise it is hit and miss. (Well it does in the
status line, but that measurement is in mm not inches like the ruler bar
is!)
Why all the autotext salutations, etc in the dropdown menus? By the time
one opens the menu and branches off to the desired one, one could have
typed in the word - and save the menu-space.
The handling of resizing the width of colums is the easiest and best I
have seen anywhere! Thank you!
