Cracked it! I decided to have a rummage through all the gnome-print
files I could find in the hopes that somewhere I would find a command -
lpr, which I could then change to gtklp. Well, blow me down if I didn't
find it in /usr/share/gnome-print in a file called profiles. There were
three profiles - Postscript Optimized, FaxG3 and PDF. These are the
three options in my printing dialog. Sure enough, in Postscript
Optimised was the line: output=command, lpr! I changed it to gtklp and
now all my print boxes in all my applications come up with gtklp. Thanks
for the gnome-print clue. I'll copy this to the list in case anyone else
wants it.
