It should be in .AbiSuite/AbiWord/plugins, or possibly .AbiSuite/plugins,
in your home directory, or in a plugins directory in the directory in which
AbiWord was installed. (I don't know where Debian puts it.)

However, plugins should load automatically when you start AbiWord. I just
checked with the developers, and support was added either in 0.9.5 or
0.9.6, so it may be that your version of AbiWord doesn't support plugins.

For 1.0, the Install Plugin dialog will default to the right directory, and
I wrote the documentation for it yesterday. Thanks for the offer, though.
