Hi All,
I would like to use AbiWord in Dutch, but it just won't speak to me
natively. I must say I'm not too much into locale and such, so it's
probably me :-(
What i have:
GTK+ 1.2.8
AbiWord GTK_0.99.3
I've downloaded the 3 AbiWord rpm's and they installed flawlessly (as it
seems) on my SuSE 7.1 system (after getting expat 1.95.2) (I HAVE
deinstalled the previous AbiWord first).
I installed the dutch dictionary and that wordks fine, but everytime I
startup AbiWord I have to change the language to dutch and I would like it
to remember that it has to use dutch spelling. I could of course replace
the american hash file with the dutch one, but is not the way, because I
need US spelling as well.
And for my wife to use AbiWord instead of StarOffice, it will have to have
the menus in Dutch as well.
I've tried
export LANG=du_NL
unset LC_ALL
But that does not seem to do anything.
Hope you people can help me out.
Remco
