This is a stereotype, and happens not to be the case on this list. By and
large people, including developers, are friendly and helpful.
However, no one likes to be criticized for something which has nothing
whatsoever to do with them, and the original posting in this thread IIRC
made just such an assumption. To quote the sage: "When you make an
assumption, you make an ass out u and mption."
