Thank you for the quick response. Here is more info:
(1) I downloaded the sources from abisource
(2) 0.99.5, 0.99.7 and now 1.01
(3) The very 1st time autogen.sh then configure, then make
When repeating, make clean, configure, make
I also used CFLAGS=-O2 ./configure, the same result
(4) Most recent none, before some (I can't recall). However, always the same result
(5) Linux SuSe6.3 Kernel 2.2.13
(6) MSVC6,abi,abidistfiles,expat,libiconv,libpng,nsis,psiconv,unixfonts,wv,zlib
