I have found our why I was getting that (Move) dialog. I have installed an
XP Tweak that tweak that enables a Move To / Copy To context Menu extension
function. It is this dialog that was appearing when I tried to either use
the Help menu or the help toolbar icon.

    The Tweak is:

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Move To]
    @="{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}"

Why this should intercept a help file open request from AbiWord is a mystery.

I have now removed the (very useful) tweak and now I can try to open the
help file from the program and nothing happens at all. I tried other
programs with HTML help files and they work fine (and also worked fine with
    the tweak installed).

    This is a bug.

    kind regards,
