    Hello,
I would like to instaal a french and dutch dictionary.
The abiword -1.0.2 doc is not very clear how i should do this.

    A. In /info/infospelling.html i get the impression that this might just
    involve copying "preinstalled" dictionaries to
    /usr/local/abisuite/dictionary/ (where i find the american.hash file)
If this means i could just copy them from somebody that insalled them i
woudl be glad to get a copy.

    B. However the abiword1.0.2 doc gives some additional directives
problems/problemsfaq.html, and it points to the pages
    http://fmg.www.cs.ucla.edu /geoff/ispell-dictionnaries.htm. Here i found
the links to french and dutch dictionnaries that i downloaded and
/geoff/ispell-winnt.html , which gives instructions on how to recompile
Ispell for use with additional dictionnaries. The doc is Windows oriented
    though.

This is a lot more complicated. So first question what is possible ? A
    and/or B ?

If B is the only way to go and since i was advised to compile the abiword
1.03 version, i have an additional reason to get to grips with compilation
of abiword and ispell under QNX.

I have no experience of c compilers , so i would be very gratefull if
somebody could point me to some step by step guide for the two mentioned
compilations, or would be so kind to spell them out. I don't even find
ispell on my HD (Pspell neither) ??

    Thanks

    Joseph

    The

    Kind regards
