    I am fairly sure we used to provide binaries for AIX, Abiword is very
    portable and works with more than just gcc. Through Sourcegear and
    various volunteers we used to have a very wide selection of hardware
    availalbe to us, but not so much anymore.

    If you stick around, perhaps you would be willing to contribute AIX
    binaries on a regular basis?
