Under Linux, we had the same type of problems with the Kerning and
such, and it turned out that all we had to do was delete the old
.AbiSuite directory after we had upgraded to a new version of the
Abiword that had fixed the problem.
I don't know if this helps at all under Windows...but I just wanted to
mention it...
