    Marking a bug as a duplicate of another should open up
    the parent bug. So this means that you should open bug
    3846.

    Things you could do:

    1) Compile abi with --enable-debug, then run abi
    inside of gdb. Print us a stack trace at the time of
    the crash (type 'where' and attach the first 10-15
    lines of output)

    2) Run abi inside of valgrind

    3) Try CVS HEAD out and see if it works for you
