Thanks Alan,I don't mean to make a big deal of this. I
don't even post any issue I find on the dev list so that
no-one will think I am begging for help from busy people. It
seems to me, however, that either the developers do or do
not want ordinary, reasonably savvy, users to test
development versions or not. I don't really care either way-
as I said, it is their project not mine - but if they want
the kind of assistance we can give then they need to give us
a clue - and not respond sarcastically when we screw up.
Sorry to have bored everyone with my rant. Time to let it
go.
