Sorry to keep on about the problem I am having with highlighting in
Abiword1.99.
As I have already said,

A further update.
I have installed 1.99 in Mandrake9.1, and highlighting works with both GNOME
and KDE desktops!
So, could it be something wrong with the SuSE set-up? an Incompatibility
somewhere, perhaps?
