preserving magnification from session to session?

    Hi,

I just tried out AbiWord (1.0.4) for the first time this past weekend (I
compiled it under Linux). Everything went well (actually much more
smoothly than I had expected. :-) ) It's very nice. I have two quick
    simple questions, as an end-user:

    (1) The tool bar is a bit long for 640x480 displays. I imagine that for
the time being this can't be changed, but I thought that I would ask
anyway (yes, unfortunately, I'm using a 640x480 display).

    (2) Is there any way of changing the default magnification so that it
will be remembered from session to session? It isn't clear to me
whether this is possible. (This would be a more urgent feature for
small displays, and probably easier to implement as well, because at
least on my 640x480 display a line of normal length with Times 12pt at
    100% has to be scrolled. :-( )

    Thanks,
    Ch. Pinon
