A new question (quoted below) has been asked on the (TWiki) FAQ, AFAIK
(without having used AbiWord in quite a while), the answers are no and no,
but I'd like to have confirmation (and elaboration) from some more
up-to-speed users.
The question is at
http://www.abisource.com/twiki/bin/view/Abiword/FaqAlteringToolbarsAndKeyboardShortcuts
. Although I'd prefer to see someone answer there, if someone answers on
this mail list, I'll transfer the answer to the TWiki.

Unanswered. Can front-end users alter toolbars or create keyboard shortcuts?
I tend to take notes in class, and I need quick ways to use superscripts,
subscripts, bullets, decreases and increases of indents. The toolbars are
full of buttons I mostly wouldn't use but for those few commands, and I'd
like to do them from the keyboard directly. Anyone have any ideas?
