    Hi,

I wanted to build Abiword 2.0 on a Solaris 8 system with no Gnome.

Besides Glib/GTK+, which is mentioned in the documentation, the list
of dependencies is seemingly endless. So far:

    gmodule-2.0
    gnome-vfs-2.0
    libbonobo-2.0
    gconf-2.0
    libgnome-2.0
    libgnomeui
    fontconfig
    gucharmap
    libglade
    libxml2

and there are probably others looming around the corner.

This is proving a little soul-destroying. Is there another way, or do
I have to just sit here recursively discovering dependencies, finding
source, configure/make/make makinstall, lather rinse repeat?

    Regards,

    Pete
