    Sorry! I sent this directly to Martin instead of the list. So here it is again
    in case anyone is interested.

    I have done some very quick tests, the results of which may be relevant.

    In SuSE, when running Abiword2.0 under KDE, it won't resize with the mouse. It
    will resize when run under Gnome or IceWM.

    In Libranet, when running Abiword1.99.2 under KDE, it won't resize with the
    mouse. It will resize when run under Gnome or IceWM.
