---- Hi Ryan: Thanks for the lightening response. I'm attaching what I think are the reg files you want. If these are not what you're looking for, let me know how to get you the relevant data. I haven't tried the fix yet; I've done a lot of monkeying around with installations and have probably screwed up the registry. Maybe I should do a manual clean-up of Abi files in the registry before reinstalling? (If you hear screams in the night, they'll be mine). I'm not sure how reinstalling will fix the problem, considering the order described below is the order in which I first installed the two versions. Anyway, I'll give it a try. Thanks again. --Mark --- > Ryan: > > Success! I don't know why, but reinstalling did the trick. Uninstalling and reinstalling removes any trace of "monkeying around" with regard to installations and associations of AbiWord, that's why it works. It sounds like you got this problem the same way I did. :) I'll take a peek at those files and compare them to a default install later. Additionally, a fix for a footnote problem was backported from 2.1.x and will be in the next 2.0.x release, 2.0.10. Thanks for using AbiWord, and please report any bugs you find in either version, but especially 2.1.3, to bugzilla.abisource.com ! We can always use more Windows testers (just search for your problem first, make sure you aren't reporting a duplicate, and if there's already a report, add to it).
