    It looks like Breeze is not a text editor but rather a
    word processor:

    Given its age, it is likely to be using an entirely
    proprietary encoding of these special symbols.
    Thus unless you can translate Breeze files to a
    widely used format (including e.g. ASCII), you will
    not be able to import Breeze files into *anything*.
    Open a Breeze file with a text editor (e.g., NotePad)
    to see what you are actually dealing with.

    Perhaps someone has written a coverter.
