"Crashes a lot" on a STABLE build is NOT supposed to happen. Please,
by dear god, place concise information on how to recreate the crashes
    in a bug report.

It was decided before releasing 2.0 to remove the hash downloader from
the main build (originally to re-create it as a plugin) because a word
processor talking to Internet complied with all psychological
requirements of "scary" and "just plain wrong."

If you're daring, you could try compiling with debug enabled and attach
the information it spews out to a bug report (NB: This would be really
    useful!).

You'll find it under "UserDebug build:"

NOTICE TO JEREMY: You're getting errors on your page.

Bugzilla thrives off of reproducable bugs. If you can feel the power
of C++ Fu within you, we could always use more assistance on Windows.
