The "Import Styles" menu item will open up any
Abiword, MSWord DOC, or RTF file that you have lying
around and import its style definitions into your
current document.
If you want to set up a list of custom styles you want
available to you, you will want to edit your default
document template (normal.awt). There is information
online for how to do this.
