Ah right this is clearer. To reiterate what Ryan is saying:

You dont need admin priviledges to install Abiword
but if you do not install as admin then abiword will only be available for
one user.

If you want abiword to be available for all users then you must be the
administrator.

I'm not sure you realise quite how limited our resources are. You should
