Thanks - newbie Word import problems 'solved'

I tried using the .doc extension with AbiWord 2.2.10, and it didn't
help, but it does with AbiWord 2.4. Duh... I really WAS doing
something wrong.

There seem to be other stability problems with the 2.4 release, but
I'll have to play with it a while to figure out what's happening.
