Sorry, can't help you with the problem. But since the topic is equations I
wanted to report another small problem:
The EQUATION EDITOR of AbiWord 2.4.4 for Windows (98&XP) does not display
an \epsilon. All other symbols seem to work fine, just the Epsilon is
represented by a (black) block.

Would be nice, if anyone had an idea how to fix this. Thanks!
