For me, one of the loveliest features of AbiWord is that it comes with two types of fonts - Symbol and Standard Symbols - which allow me to write in Greek, since I started studying that language. The only problem is, those two fonts produce all the letters of the Greek alphabet, with the exception of one. There are two types of lowercase sigma in Greek: one that looks like a handwritten o, produced by the same key that ordinarily produces an s (keycode 39), and one that looks a lot like an s, which is used at the end of words. I need this one, to write correctly in Greek. On the other hand, those fonts produce one character that I don't need - an omega with a line on it, produced by the v key (keycode 55). I know all the files responsible for the fonts in AbiWord are in the directory /usr/share/AbiSuite/fonts, but how can I identify the files that belong to Symbol and Standard Symbols? I think just by changing one line in one of those files the problem will be solved. I might have to download the extra font for the sigma from somewhere, though. I'll be grateful if someone can help me.
