Polytonic Greek (and vocalised Hebrew) with text processing programs has 
been a royal pain for longer than I care to remember (not on Apple 
computers I believe).
Of course, you can always revert to pre WordPerfect 5, pre Greek 
Language Module, and create your own keyboard layout (that is how it was 
done :-(), but obviously you are not looking for that.
There is the Thessalonica add-on (already mentioned) for OpenOffice, but 
I have never managed to get it to work, neither under Windows, nor under 
Linux. Maybe I will just have to try harder.
I still rely on MS Word + Antioch and I am quite happy with it. Besides, 
I am sick and tired of spending so much time on looking for alternatives 
and trying to get them to work. AFAIK the Antioch developer is not 
developing ports (and Antioch is written in VB).
Sorry Andrew, I cannot help you, but I am glad you brought up the 
question on this board. Remember, however, that we are a *very* modest 
niche ;-)
